WELCOME TO
THE KING'S SCHOOL

Welcome to The King’s School, Harpenden, an independent, non-selective, co-educational Christian school in Hertfordshire.

We seek to give our pupils an excellent education, enabling them to develop academically, grow in character, discover their worth and achieve their potential. This is made possible by small class sizes, dedicated teaching staff and outstanding pastoral care, underpinned by our school values, The King’s School Way, set out below.

Our vision is to partner with Christian parents and support you in the biblical upbringing of your children. In doing so, we share with you in the privilege of helping our pupils discover God’s plan for their lives. To find out what our pupils experience, have a look at one of the videos on this page.

Your child can enjoy an education from 2-16 years old, beginning in the thriving Highfield Preschool, for pupils aged from 2 years 9 months, which is at the Highfield Oval, further along Ambrose Lane. Pupils can then transition smoothly through the primary and secondary stages until they complete their GCSEs. At 16, our pupils move on successfully to their choice of sixth form or college.

Our school is a place of fresh challenges and exciting opportunities. We look forward to having the opportunity to introduce ourselves, show you around our beautiful setting and share more of our vision. Please contact the Registrar, kings.pa@thekingsschool.com, or phone 01582 767566, to make an appointment.
