The King’s School, Harpenden, School News

We’ve had a busy Spring Term across the Secondary and Primary Schools.

The Primary classes enjoyed several school trips, including Hatfield House, Pizza Express and Pots of Art; World Book Day and International Dress-up Day saw an array of colourful and imaginative costumes; our Primary classroom doors were beautifully decorated with themes from favourite books; and the swimming gala at Harpenden Pool was a great competition of skill and speed.

The Secondary School put on a beautiful show, with talented singing, acting and dancing, and some of our pupils enjoyed a French speaking exchange visit to Switzerland, hosted by families from our Christian link school, La Bergerie.

Along with our solid curriculum, our school is vibrant and active, with lunch-time clubs and competitions, musical events and sporting fixtures against a variety of smaller schools like ourselves.
